Year 2 Semester 2 results
Oh my god, I actually forget that I haven’t blog about my year 2 semester 2 results which I gotten back last wednesday.
Well, there’s a SLIGHT improvement in my overall GPA – raised by 0.015. =___=
Although it’s just a damn little improvement larh.. but still the word, improvement. So yeah.. (:

Banta Singh Letter To Bill Gates
Came across this somewhat LETTER.. quite hilarious, decided to share it with you guys Here it goes~

Dear Mr. Bill Gates,
This letter is from Banta Singh from Punjab. We have bought a computer for our home and we found problems, which I want to bring to your notice.
1. After connecting to internet we planned to open e-mail account and whenever we fill the form in Hotmail in the password column, only ****** appears, but in the rest of the fields whatever we typed appears, but we face this problem only in password field. We checked with hardware vendor Santa Singh and he said that there is no problem in keyboard. Because of this we open the e-mail account with password *****. I request you to check this as we ourselves do not know what the password is.
2. We are unable to enter anything after we click the ‘shut down ‘ button.
3. There is a button ‘start’ but there is no “stop” button. We request you to check this.
4. We find there is ‘Run’ in the menu. One of my friend clicked ‘run ‘ has ran upto Amritsar! So, we request you to change that to “sit”, so that we can click that by sitting.
5. One doubt is that any ‘re-scooter’ available in system? As I find only ‘re-cycle’, but I own a scooter at my home.
6. There is ‘Find’ button but it is not working properly. My wife lost the door key and we tried a lot for tracing the key with this ‘ find’, but unable to trace. Is it a bug??
7. Every night I am not sleeping as I have to protect my ‘mouse’ from CAT, So I suggest u to provide one DOG to kill that cat.
8. Please confirm when u are going to give me money for winning ‘HEARTS’ (playing cards in games) and when are u coming to my home to collect ur money.
9. My child learnt ‘Microsoft word’ now he wants to learn ‘Microsoft sentence’, so when u will provide that?

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
This game! I’ve been waiting for SO LONG! Finally! I’ve successfully receive the game from Alvin! Woooots!
It takes like from 10.30 am until 7.30 pm, which is 9 hours! WOW! It takes a few days to get it from torrents! Suddenly I love MSN file transfer so much. HAHA.
But again, MSN always block my message, and not let me send it, which is very very sickening. So yeah. I’m gonna play FF7CC aka Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core later!
Finished reading the latest kindaichi comic yesterday. It’s damn nice! And very very hard to solve. Haha. THIS STORY IS KINDA GROSS! and scary ;x

ualifying round today. I did my best, whether can get to represent NYP or not, it doesn’t really matter now. I’m SOOOO glad I managed to finish everything within 8 hours!
No, not all. I FORGOT to do print css! oh shit!! T.T So sian…
But never mind, no point sad over it. Just hope I can do well for it. It’s an achievement! And I learnt alot from this – one year of tough training, learning things not taught in our diploma. hahas. Hope I can make good use of what I learnt all these days.
In one and a half hours’ time, we can know our semestral results for the previous semester, that is, my year 2 semester 2! Hope I can do well for it. I was super slack last semester, hopefully no regrets! (:

Tomorrow is the day!
Finally, after more than a year of tough training.. the last qualifying round within nyp is tomorrow!
I don’t expect much from myself, just hope to finish what I’m assigned to do, at least, do something which can impress myself, even it’s not enough to impress others.
I’m so nervous man.. in 12 hour’s time, it’s gonna be it. 8 hours straight of web designing work to do.. i don’t even think i’ll have the mood to go for lunch! =.=”

Recently very busy, due to the qualifying round which is going to be held next week. So tired.

I just coded 2 scripts on my blog, one is to disable right click of user’s mouse on contents on my blog, another one is to disable left click, prevent people from highlighting the contents.
What is the purpose? Well, there’s no purpose to this! 
It’s been quite awhile since I last played with HTML codes, so decided to play around with Javascript. And I don’t feel like taking it out after playing with it. haha!
Anyway, to overcome it, either you turn off your Javascript option from your browser, or you copy it from the “view source” option. (:

Nanyang Polytechnic results out on 19th march 2008! All fellow nyp students do take note alright! You can view your results online after 00:00 am (that is, 12 mid night), or you can go to eServices, under your preference, check the box which allows school to SMS you your results!
SMS you results will be after 6am in the morning!

A meaningful frog story
Once upon a time, there was many tiny frogs. They arranged a running competition – the goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.
A big crowd of animals and people had gathered around the tower to watch the race and cheer on the contestants.
The race began…
Honestly, No one in crowd really believe that these tiny frogs could reach the top of the tower.
You heard statements such as:
“Oh, WAY too difficult!!”
or
ALL of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this tiny frog managed to do it.. They went over to ask this tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal.
Never listen to other people’s tendencies to be negative or pessimistic, because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you – the ones you have in your heart!
Always be determined towards what you want to do, because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!
“They will NEVER make it to the top.”
or
“Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!”
Soon, the tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one…
Except for those who are in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher…
The crowd continued yelling stuffs like:
“It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!”
More tiny frogs got tired and gave up…
But ONE continued higher and higher and higher.
This one wouldn’t give up!

.
In the end, when everyone else had given up climbing the tower,
there’s only this one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who managed to reach the top!ALL of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this tiny frog managed to do it.. They went over to ask this tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal.
Guess what?
The winner was DEAF!!!!
The wisdom of this story is:Never listen to other people’s tendencies to be negative or pessimistic, because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you – the ones you have in your heart!
Always be determined towards what you want to do, because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!
Therefore, ALWAYS be POSITIVE!
And above all:
Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!

You will see every post/threads, at least 80% of them, are insulting, criticising, scolding, cursing Asiasoft for giving empty promises and make everyone who wanted to play the game to stay home and wait happily at 2pm and angrily until now.

To be more exact, there are 3 lecturers, 23 monsters and 1 poor civilian (that’s me) being trapped there! Avoid that area! You will stress to hell if you step into that lab -___-
神雕侠侣 Return of the Condor Heroes
Recently I’ve been watching this show, 神雕侠侣 (Return of the Condor Heroes).
Actually I already roughly know its storyline before I even watch it, so yeah. It’s another great work by Mr 金庸 (Jin Yong).
This time, I watched the 2006 China version casting 黄晓明 (Huang Xiao Ming) as 杨过 (Yang Guo) & 刘亦非 (Crystal Liu Yi Fei) as 小龙女 (Xiao Long Nv) and many other cast as well.
It’s super nice! Look below!
I heard that this version had shown on Singapore channel 8 before. Damn, I missed it!
Anyway, luckily that I managed to watch it on the video sharing site! Phew. Would be a great sin to miss this show! x)
So people, if you want to watch 神雕侠侣 (Return of the Condor Heroes), and want to watch a really good one, watch this version! It’s GREAT!
