It's my LIFE!

I got so many contents to blog about – James and Roger knows what I meant.

I’ve mention my blog topics to them and gave them a rough idea of it, and I’m sure they are interesting stuffs to blog about :p

However, due to the overwhelming load of work/projects, I do not have the time to blog it out.

I’m just doing a quick post now, got to rush back for work again.

Okay now, I’m finally done with the seriously very uncommon “common” test.

I’ve not been sleeping for two days due to all the tests and commitments. And I didn’t touch any games or the kind at all, during the two sleepless night, I’m purely studying and touching up the JavaJive project.

I’ve break my record, and I’m sure that is the highest and it will never go higher – I DON’T WANT IT TO GO HIGHER – that is, to have spent around 18 hours in school (NYP) on 25th June 2008!

That’s totally killing!

Anyway, I’m glad that now some burdens are gone. The uncommon common test is over, JaveJive competition too. Life’s more relax now compared to weeks ago.

Now I’m left with 5 projects and other class test, common test and exams in the future.

I just hope things would goes well. I’m very upset with the fact that I’m wasted my months of effort, the JavaJive judges misunderstood our system TOTALLY and I’ve got no chance to explain to them. I finally got my time to speak up from the judges and from my team mates, but I was cruelly shown the “Time’s Up” sign; no choice but to shut up and get out of the room.

Question and Answer section is my strong point, why don’t I get the chance to talk.. I know all the answers of the questions the judges asked, why don’t give me a chance to answer them.. sigh..

My greatest regret is not being able to deliver the message to the judges – not getting a chance to explain to them! I meant myself! The moment I get to speak after the judges and my teammates have stopped speaking, I was chased out! That wasn’t fair. (again, nothing is fair in this world)

Months of effort wasted.

Well forget it. Let’s move on.

Hope I can achieve my targets for all those “uncommon” common test. Super tired! I’m glad I had a peaceful sleep last night!

I wanted to change my email, but somehow got screwed by it. But somehow, in another way, I shouldn’t say it screwed me – it’s more on how I misunderstood the meaning of “Import instant messaging contacts…”? Oh well.

My friends have been changing their email address quite frequently – as in different person change that email address for a few times, when everyone’s change of email address are being added up, there’s quite a number of changes.

I wanted to change my email address too! My brother helped me create this email address when I was in primary 6, that is, when I’m 12 years old. I’m not really someone who uses computer – it was when I was around 14 or 15 years old then I start using computer – just to sign on to msn to save ‘sms’ and to play MMORPG games though.

Anyway, my point is, I’m old enough and I got to have a more mature email address for the purpose of work – I’ll need to give my email address to my clients in future, and even write it in my resume. Thus, it is necessary to change my email address!

However, I hesitated because it is super troublesome to be adding my contacts one by one from the old email to my new email, thus dragged until now.

Firstly, I don’t know how to sign in two messenger at a same time.Tried google around, but they always direct my to some funny sites which spams me with ad-wares – where ever I click on the page, there will surely be a pop-out window, I DON’T KNOW WHY. (yes, frustrated)

I make use of the “Save instant messaging contacts…” function to export my contacts, sign on to my new email acccount and uses the “Import instant messaging contacts…” function to import my contacts into my new account…

Oh damn it, the GROUPINGS are not being imported!

that’s it, I’m done with it. Seriously, without the groupings, I don’t really know who is who! Most of my friends uses weird and funny email address, in addition to the fact that some of my friends used to use a standard msn nick like for example,

” N a me O f P e r s o n            S o m e Q u o t e s “

I recognise this contact by his/her nick, because their msn is something like for example,

“happytreefriends98@hotmail.com”

How am I going to recognise who is this?

Thus when this contact changes his nick to totally something else, without leaving their names there – I don’t know who is this person! And not one or two contacts… more than 10 contacts do that to me! Oh man..

However, my point is; I feel screwed because Windows live messenger really save and import CONTACTS only, the groupings are ignored. It’s exactly the same as the options stated there! It’s so exact!

So now I got to really reconsider whether to change my email address or not, it’s SO TROUBLESOME!

Here’s a touching love story I would like to share with you guys, read it slowly and feel it.

10th Grade:
As I sat there in English class,
I stared at the girl next to me.
She was my so called ‘best friend’.
I stared at her long, silky hair,
and wished she was mine.
But she didn’t notice me like that,
and I knew it.
After class,
she walked up to me and asked me for
the notes she had missed the day before.
I handed them to her.She said ‘thanks’
and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her, I want her to know
that I don’t want to be just friends,
I love her but I’m just too shy,
and I don’t know why.

11th grade:
The phone rang. On the other end,
it was her. She was in tears,
mumbling on and on about how
her love had broke her heart.
She asked me to come over
because she didn’t want to be alone, So I did.
As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her
soft eyes, wishing she was mine.
After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie,
and three bags of chips,
she decided to go home.
She looked at me, said ‘thanks’
and gave me a kiss
on the cheek..I want to tell her,
I want her to know that
I don’t want to be just friends,
I love her but I’m just too shy,
and I don’t know why.

Senior year:
One fine day she walked to my locker.
“My date is sick” she said,
“hes not gonna go” well,
I didn’t have a date, and in 7th grade,
we made a promise that
if neither of us had dates,
we would go together just as ‘best friends’.
So we did.
That night, after everything was over,
I was standing at her front door step.
I stared at her as She smiled at me
and stared at me with her crystal eyes.
Then she said- “I had the best time, thanks!”
and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don’t want to be just friends,
I love her but I’m just too shy,
and I don’t know why.

Graduation:
A day passed, then a week, then a month.
Before I could blink, it was graduation day.
I watched as her perfect body
floated like an angel
up on stage to get her diploma.
I wanted her to be mine-but
she didn’t notice me like that, and I knew it.
Before everyone went home,
she came to me in her smock and hat,
and cried as I hugged her.
Then she lifted her head from my shoulder
and said- ‘you’re my best friend,
thanks’ and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don’t want to be just friends,
I love her but I’m just too shy,
and I don’t know why.

Marriage:
Now I sit in the pews of the church.
That girl is getting married now.
and drive off to her new life,
married to another man.
I wanted her to be mine,
but she didn’t see me like that,
and I knew it.
But before she drove away,
she came to me and said ‘you came !’.
She said ‘thanks’ and kissed me on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don’t want to be just friends,
I love her but I’m just too shy,
and I don’t know why.

Death:
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin
of a girl who used to be my ‘best friend’.
At the service, they read a diary entry
she had wrote in her high school years.
This is what it read:
‘I stare at him wishing he was mine,
but he doesn’t notice me like that,
and I know it.
I want to tell him,
I want him to know that
I don’t want to be just friends,
I love him but I’m just too shy,
and I don’t know why.
I wish he would tell me he loved me !

“………’I wish I did too…’”

I thought to my self, and I cried.

I am going to face a very big problem, a big disaster, and probably a really big one.

The thought of it makes me sweat.. seriously, I don’t know what to do.

What exactly is approaching? It’s 23rd June!

Oh man, what’s so serious about it? Common test starts from 23rd June!

I believe you guys know that I’m studying the diploma of Multimedia and Infocomm Technology in NYP aka Nanyang Polytechnic.

There are different specialisation in studying this diploma – Specialised in Interactive Media, Specialised in Data Communication and Networking, and so on.

I’m specialised in Integrated Web System and Solutions. So what’s so special about it?

Our specialisation is the only one having 4 papers! Distributed over 4 days, Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – One paper each day! How am I going to study for them??

Not that I want to rant, it’s called COMMON TEST, but they’re not common at all. And to make it even more clear, my specialisation consist of two classes, where both classes studies 2 different modules/subjects.

One of the class studies IT Services and IT management (if I’m not wrong), the other class, which is my class, studies Web 2.0 and database management.

And only my class has 4 papers, distributed over 4 days. Oh man.. The paper on monday is the only common test paper where everyone, regardless of specialisation, are going to do.

But hey, most of the students, for example, students specialised in Interactive Media, they only got one paper to worry about. We got four papers! And we’re doing the same paper. How can this be called common? ;/

Common my foot LOL.

Projects? Yes, other specialisation has projects. Our specialisation has 5 projects. Who got more?

And yes, it is true that we got lesser common test at the end of the year, but come on, the common modules are no longer tested in the end of the year – those papers are only tested among their own specialisation.

It means that – all who are taking the paper are taking the same amount of papers, unlike now, some students only has one paper to worry about, whereas some has four papers to be stressed on.

Seriously, nothing is fair in this world. Let alone studying, there are many things in this world which are damn unfair. I’m only 18 years old this year, turning 19 in a few weeks’ time, and I’m feeling so fed up about this world’s unfairness. I still got a hell long journey of my life to go on, I hope I’ll grow and able to handle them soon.

I gotta be strong uhs.

I remember something, said by someone, or I read somewhere… just couldn’t remember the source. Anyway, I want to share it. Here’s the sentence:

If you can’t change the world to fit yourself, then change yourself to fit the world.

I find it damn true, especially in such a world of unfairness. I must strongly agree with the above sentence.

And note that I say the world is a unfair place, not just simply because of the common test matter. If that’s just it, I’d find myself quite sick. lols. Of course, my reason for making such statement consists of many other reasons too, just that I don’t want to share stuffs which are too personal.

People in my life comes and go as they like. Some of them leave their footprints, giving me something to stare at in the future. Some of them did not left anything for me, didn’t give a damn about my feelings. Or perhaps they’re just too busy with their life to be bothered by other people.

Yet some of them, even after I tried to chase after them, they ran faster, not giving me a chance to catch up. Or some even worst; slowed down to let me catch up with them. Then, when I let my guard down, they left hastily again.

Life’s full of surprises and disappointment. Or are they actually the same thing? Judge it for yourself.

The only fair thing I have in this world, is a warmth family. Love my family. <3

To promote his album, Lin Yu Zhong went to a gay pub in Taiwan called Funky. There, he got “high” and started kissing Lin Jun Jie. But anyway, from my humble point of view, I find that it’s quite alright actually. Just a peck on the face, and I think I’d actually do that too if I’m playing ‘truth or dare’ with my friends. Especially when I’m playing with people like Joseph. LOL.

Oh my god, I suddenly remembered how Alvin and Teng Yong licked each other badly on our last class chalet. HAHAHAHA.

Square Enix’s attempt to capitalize on the popularity of Final Fantasy VII with their Compilation of Final Fantasy VII series of games hasn’t been going too well so far, especially in North America. The Vincent Valentine vehicle Dirge of Cerberus for the PlayStation 2 was mediocre at best, and the mobile game Before Crisis featuring the Turks still hasn’t made it to North American shores. Basically we have a slipshod shooter and Advent Children, a well-crafted yet ultimately shallow CGI movie.

Later on, Square Enix has released Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for the PSP, a true prequel to the Playstation original, which follows the career of Cloud’s inspiration, SOLDIER Zack Fair. Has the rebirth of FFVII finally delivered compelling gameplay, or are we better off just replaying the original? I’m going to do a short review on it.

Note to all who did not played FF7CC a.k.a Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII before, many scenes of this game has actually mentioned a novel – loveless – where genesis enjoys using phases from this novel.

So, LOVE or LOVELESS?

LOVE

Combat System: Crisis Core’s combat system is basically an evolution of the Kingdom Hearts system, with combat actions, spells, and items selected in real time with the shoulder buttons. It felt a bit awkward at first, but quickly became second nature.

Digital Mind Wave: The DMW is the spinning roulette wheel at the top left, which randomly determines when special attacks and summons occur, as well as not-so-randomly determining when you level up. As the game progresses and you discover new summons and special attacks you will fall in love with the DMW.

Mission System: A big part of what makes Crisis Core an excellent PSP game, the mission system, lets you engage in quick, bite-sized tasks, perfect for a quick Final Fantasy fix. It’s optional, but some of the cooler summons in the game are hidden away in missions.

Final Fan-Service: The game is filled with subtle hooks for fans of the PlayStation original. Characters, locations, and events will have you fondly remembering your time with FFVII.

Filling In The Gaps: Crisis Core not only stands on its own in terms of presenting a compelling story, it also fills in gaps from the original game’s plot. Final Fantasy VII makes a bit more sense to me now that I’ve played through Crisis Core.

Square Enix Shine: Production values in the Crisis Core are through the roof. The music seldom misses, the voice work is excellent, and the CG is truly amazing. Even the menu system oozes quality.

LOVELESS

Unskippable Cutscenes: Nothing pisses me off more than losing a 10 minute long boss fight only to find I cannot skip past the 14 minutes of cutscenes leading up to the rematch. Come on Squeenix, we’ve moved past this.

For this one, I personally don’t find it a LOVELESS, because I never loses in any boss fight before ;P But nonethelessly, I feel for those who kept losing. They’d have to watch the cutscene repeatedly! LOL.

Mission Repetition: The missions take place over a dozen or so environments that repeat far too often. Taking on missions in large chunks, I found myself quickly getting tired of seeing the same metal rooms, cave surfaces, and rolling plains over and over again. And trust me, it’s totally sickening to keep repeating this and that.. Even if you pass all the missions – you’ll still be surprised by how many repetitive mission you are made to do.

Well, now let’s forget Before Crisis and Dirge of Cerberus. With the release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, FFVII can now be considered a trilogy. Crisis Core, Final Fantasy VII, and Advent Children together form the full Final Fantasy VII experience. Not only is Crisis Core jam-packed with hooks to the PlayStation original, its characters and storyline are strong enough to stand on their own.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is a PSP masterpiece, and an absolute must for fans of spiky-haired protagonists everywhere. There are many people who specially buy a brandnew PSP just for the sake of playing this masterpiece!

I am looking forward to the remake of FFVII Original on PS3 – the english version to be release in Singapore! By then, I’ll be a crazy nuts who’d specially buy a set of PlayStation3 console just to play this marvellous Final Fantasy VII Original Remake on PS3!

Back to Crisis Core, Final Fantasy VII, it’s a must for every Final Fantasy Fans or even simply FF7 Fans to play it! And I repeat – IT’S A MUST! ;D

I just watched the movie – Jumper – a moment ago.

I find it rather great, though at times, I felt that “why don’t he just … ” or “since he can teleport, why don’t he simply …” and this and that.Even to the extend of being kinda fed-up. LOL!

Oh well, for the sake of those who haven’t watch the show, and still want to watch it and don’t want any spoilers, I’ll just tell you what is jumper.

Jumper is actually a type of people who is borned with the ability of ‘jumping’ – in another words, teleporting.

These people who are able to teleport anytime, to anywhere, are called jumpers; and the main character of this show, David Rice, is one of them.

So the story goes quite amazingly and interestingly, for the whole 90 minutes.

It’s quite a nice movie in my opinion, as people dream about flying, about teleporting – myself, for one, is someone who dreams of myself being able to fly, teleport, or even run at a very very fast speed, that I don’t need to wait for bus nor do I need to take MRT to school or to work!

I like to dream~ and to think alot! I’m someone who is very very extreme in imagination (people who truely knows me will know ;p) and my friends always say I watched too much show/think too much!

I find it both good and bad, bad as in tooooooo imaginativeeeeee~But good in the sense that I can experiences things and stuffs which other people didn’t even thought of. Seriously, the feeling is great. You have to feel it for yourself!

This movie for example, just imagine you’re the main character in the show.. Can you feel it? Let’s say you’re in Singapore, a while later, you ‘jumped’ to Paris, then ‘jumped’ to Tokyo, and so on and so forth.

Of course, you don’t rob the bank! Although you can. ;p

Just don’t! We don’t use our ability for bad causes, we just live on normally like a normal human being while making use of our special ability as a jumper, to enhance our life – you might even be a super hero! ;p

So, dream it on! Show your imagination! Close your eyes now and become a jumper! You have a special ability now!!! Make good use of it! You are a super jumper!Able to jump to whereever you want!

Today, I’m going to share a very meaningful story with you guys. Here it goes:

There was a farmer who harvest corns for a living.

On day, he asked his son over to his side and said to his son, “Son, I want you to go to the field and pick out the corns which you think are the most good-looking and well-packaged and bring them to me. You have a time limit of 2 hours, so do not waste your time.”

The son then dutifully went into the fields to pick out the corns. He looked around and found a corn which fits the criteria. He picked it up and continue moving.

Soon after, he saw another corn which better fit the criteria. He threw away the first corn in this hand and picked up the second corn.

Continuing walking, the son then set his eyes on yet another better fitting criteria corn. He threw away the second corn and picked up the third.

The son then went around the field in search of corns which fit the criteria. When the time limit was up, he returned to his father, carrying a whole bunch of corns in his hands.

“Very good son! Now, I’ll need you to go to the field again and this time, help me look for just a corn without worms in the core. You do not have a time limit for this.”, said the father.

The son, upon hearing the farmer’s request, went back into the fields in search for the corn.

Firstly, he picked up a corn which seems to look good on the outside. However, upon checking, he realised that there were worms in the core of the corn. He tossed it away and went in search again for the corn.

The second corn he picked up looked even better then the first. However, there were too, worm holes in the corn.

Tossing it away, the farmer’s son started searching for the corn again, determined to find it.

After a very long, the farmer saw his son running towards him. The son proudly told his father that he had found the corn which fits the criteria and placed in his father’s hands, a rather plain looking corn.

Proud of his son, the farmer told his son, “Son, treat the good-looking and well-packaged corns as your girlfriends. They are pretty, good-looking and well-packaged, but they don’t usually are the kinds you look for as a partner for your life. That’s the reason why you are given 2 hours to look for them.”

“Treat the plain looking corn as your wife. It may not be good-looking, it may just be a rather plain looking corn, but at the very least, it has a clean core. For this if you realised, you aren’t given a time limit to find this particular corn and u actually took a lot longer time to search for this one corn. That’s why, you are given your entire lifetime to just search for the right person.”

As requested by Philina, I’m tagged with a quiz! It’ve been a few days since she tagged, so I guess it’s time to do the quiz before it’s dragged too long ;p

As I do the quiz, I find the questions getting more and more meaningful. They will actually get you thinking about your life – your past, present and future. You’d have to really think through it in your mind and sort them out as your type out your thoughts.

When you’re by yourself, you would not be thinking of such things. But when you’re told to do so, being asked to think about such things, you’ll actually be thinking through, which is a good things. You might realises a bigger picture out there.

Well, I don’t think nothing much is gonna happen tomorrow. I’d most likely stay home and rest; get sufficient sleep. Been busy nowadays that I’m like a having super deep PANDA EYES. hahaha.

Can’t say I hate. In life, there are times when you want to be alone and whoever tried to disturb your “peace”, you tend to get irritated by them, but not really ‘hate’. haha.

5. when do u wish to die?
Do I have a choice? In fact, I don’t wish to live tooooo long. I don’t want to be a living shell just to live for the sake of living, old until cannot move or speak well, lying on bed everyday, eat and sleep and eat and sleep. I rather die by then. lols.

6. what impossible things you would wish to do?
To love and being loved! It’s not really an impossible thing though, but when you don’t really believe in love anymore, you’ll probably believe that to love and being loved is actually an impossible task; thus, an impossible thing to do.

7. Do you believe in eternal love?
I believe that eternal love exist. Well, that is, if love do exist.

8. have you broken someone’s heart tt he/ she tried to commit suicide?
Nope, I don’t have such charm! LOL. Oh well…

9. what’s the few things you’d do before you die?
I’d say all I want to say, do all I’d want to do. But well, that’s provided only if I know when I am going to die, and I still got the energy or power to actually do it.

10. describe your other half.
She’s gonna be someone perfect. Impossible? Not perfect to the world or anyone else, just perfect in my eyes.

To all: I believe that your loved ones will be perfect in your eyes, don’t you agree?

11. what feeling do you hate the most?
To be cheated. I hate people who cheat me. Be it good or bad, as in, be it cheating me for my own good, or intentionally cheated me. I hate that.

12. do you cherish every single friendship of yours?
Yes I do. What are friends for? We help each other and play a part in everyone’s life. However, that are exception – people who don’t treasure the friendship, and disappoints me again and again. I would not need such a friend. Nor do I need friends who are making use of me or those with pathetic morality.

13. the most important thing in your life.
Without my family members, I would not have survived until today. They’re always there and are very understanding. <3

14. who do you hope to be always there for you?
Again, my family members. And if love really exists in this world, I’d hope that my other half would always be there for me.

15. do you find life meaningless?
At times, I do. Everyone is going to go through that part of their life, in fact, I believe that everyone of my age (18, turning 19 soon) would have gone through such a stage before already, just that a number of you does not realise it. There may be some exception though, but this stage of life is going to come, sooner or later – it will.

16. what have you been searching for all this while?
This question beats me. I don’t really have an idea of what I’ve been searching for. All I could say is I’ve been wandering aimlessly through out more than half of my life as at today, and I’ve been working hard for myself and my future right now. If I really got to answer this question, I think my closest answer is – I’ve been searching for my purpose of existance in this world.

I strongly believe that everyone exists in this world for a specific purpose, and it’s for you to find out for yourself.

For all my family members to be safe and healthy.

Isn’t them the same? I’m not so sure of what are the differences between them actually, but I’d choose FATE, since I’m more familiar with that word. hahaha.

I’d have it as family, love, pride, career, money.

**What do you enjoyed doing the most?
Helping other people. Define other people – Anyone other than myself, be it friends, strangers, family members, or even animals like dogs or cats. I would feel really good when I’m helping people, seeing them felt happy, it’s a great feeling. I’ll feel the joy too. In fact, who don’t love to be helped? If you love to help others, why don’t you learn to help other people first?

I’ve been installing it since yesterday around 8pm until now – 5:50pm. Going to hit 24hours soon, it’s still stuck at installing shared components. I’m like totally sicked..

Must be disc spoil. My computer has no problem installing other programs, only this one is giving me problem.

What should I do, I got to use dreamweaver to do my project! I can’t get anything done without Adobe CS3 Master collection. In fact, I just need dreamweaver, photoshop, flash and fireworks, that’s all.

Well, if anyone knows where can I download trail version, do let me know by posting a comment or post a tag on my tagboard alright. I’d appreciate it.

I got the license, just need the file to get it installed into my computer. It’s quite urgent. Thanks!

I have finally got it! My API Key @ WordPress.com!

A billion thanks to Darran, Fupper, Felix Ker, and Isaiah for the help!

Although I still don’t really get why is this key being referred to as an “password”. I’m not using the free blog at WordPress.com, yet I have to possess a API Key of WordPress.com, that’s quite weird isn’t it?

It’s like, what exactly is the link between this two platforms? I mean, although they are still WordPress.com, but what is the point of having an account at WordPress.com, just to have the API Key, and not blogging or doing anything there?

WordPress.com is like have too much space for database, thus want people to create empty account there just for the purpose of getting an API Key. That’s weird..

I believe that there’s probably a reason behind this matter, but it’s just something I don’t understand.

Let’s see if anyone could shine some light into my dark room of confusion. (:

I am so confused, wondering what is this API key thingy of wordpress.com.. does anyone knows what it is?

I wanted to add in new plugins into my blog, but most of them, or rather, those which I’ve read the description and find them quite useful – they all requires WordPress.com API Key.

I remember myself coming across this “API KEY” thingy before, but I totally cannot remember where is it -.-”

I tried looking around and click on all the options I see, but still couldn’t find the right one which provides me the API Key. Could anyone help?

I am so fed up with the screwed up graphics that I received when I’m playing MMORPG games such as CabalSEA and Rohan Online.

All along they are fine, until few weeks again when I started doing some work which I guess, did some changes to my operating system registry, thus result in having my computer to have two main problems other than lagness:

1. A never ending loop of auto-restarting my computer when I launch any .exe file from my computer – be it AuditionSEA, Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne, o2jam etc..

2. When I was playing game halfway, the screen will hang while the background music is still playing. Then later on, when it recovers after the 10~20 seconds of hang, the sound all happens to play at one go (quickly, as though being fast forwarded) and 99% of the time, my character in game will be dead by then.

This creates an ultra annoying and sickening feelings to me.

I can’t play game at all! Especially when I’m in a dungeon with my friends in CabalSEA – there is time limit and we got to play teamwork in order to get through it successfully. Yet, I keep getting the hang and screwed up graphics occurs when it recovered – I’m dead by then.

How patience can one get? We could not finish the dungeon today, mostly is because of my stupid computer which causes all these problem. I am so fed up by it.

When I was playing Rohan Online, I got this problem too. Rohan adopt a unique way of training where when a user get to kill every 20th monster in a row, there will be a bonus exp for him. For example, the 20th kill gives you x7 exp, the 40th kill give you 10x exp and so on, where the 100th kill give you x19 exp and then restart your kills count back to 0.

I can never reach 100th kill due to the screw up graphics, worst comes to worst, it even hang my computer for more than 30 minutes (normally around 1 min) and as a result, I got no choice but to force a shut down by holding on the “power” button of my cpu..

This is sooooooooooo sick! I’m so fed up.. arghs!

I’ve finish my very own, personalised, customised, original blog @ wordpress!

I’m damn contented; after like… 2 or 3 days or wait and such, I’ve finally got it!~

Well, first of all, I got to thanks Mr Daryl again, for all the great help, really appreciate it, will burn some josstick to worthship this god ;x LOL

Then, I got to thanks WordPress for the codes and stuff, they are super useful, and damn professional. I really love my current blog. hahaas!

The look and feel.. they’re almost kind of perfect to me! I love it! hahaha!

My previous posts are kind of light colored font; If I adopt a light color theme (white, yellow, etc), the post cannot be seen! Thus, I got to choose a dark colored theme – where this theme (current theme) catch my attention!

Find the 3 column really nice also, the first time I ever used a 3 column skin. I always adopt the 2 column type of skin, felt that it’s more simple. But I guess this theme proved me wrong :p

Oh well, I shall stop here, will post again when I got the time yeah. Alvin and Teng Yong are waiting for me in Cabal~ we’re entering b2f to explore/quest/I don’t know. hahaha.

I will be migrating my blog again soon, due to the fact that wordpress.com does not allow us to edit HTML and stuffs to customise our blog ourselves.

What the point of having a personal blog when you can’t even have it your way, your style? :p

I am going to migrate my blog to way2blog.net domain, thanks to Daryl’s help! A billion thanks to him (clap clap)

Currently the blog is still under development, am still figuring how to actually use it. I need the rights to edit it; well, will ask Daryl to help me :p

I finally figured out how to customize my page! But I encountered one problem – HTML! How to edit HTML codes on WordPress?

I wanted to put in my CBOX tagboard, I created a “Text” widget and paste the codes inside, I click on “save”, refresh my page – it shows nothing.

I click on the ‘edit’ to see the codes inside the text widget, I see parts and parts of the codes, it have been edited! Which is very weird. I tried a few times, and the same thing keeps appearing. ;/

Then I tried to put in my nuffnang ads units – again! The codes are modified after I click on ‘change’ (save changes). What is happening? WordPress don’t allow people to change or put any HTML codes?

Why is it that all the blog hosts opposing me.. -_-|||

Which is better, wordpress or blogger?? 

In my most humble opinion, I find that WordPress is probably better – looking at all the features that WordPress provides to their users/bloggers, it so much more. Let alone the “Page” function…

WordPress has a function of having Category – it allows your readers to choose what category they want to particularly read on and this and that.

It sounds really cool to me (:

Now I’ll have to create different category of topic which I blogged on. I got around 220 post migrated from my previous blog on Blogger, and I am NOT going to specially go and categorise them one by one, I’ll just leave them as it us; uncategorised.

Other than that, all new post I’m gonna blogged in future will belongs to a category! Well yeah, I’ll think of the categories as I blog. Currently only one new category – MMORPG – due to my previous post. hehs.

Note that the Rohan Online post is one which I typed few days ago, it’s not updated in the rss feed due to Blogger – they did not update my rss feed. Even today – 11th June 2008, the rss feed is STILL NOT updated; go take a look at my old blog at http://liife-iish-darrk.blogspot.com/ and you will know what I meant.

Scroll all the way down to the bottom, I specially made one box of “most updated” rss feed. The LATEST rss feed they updated is a post that doesn’t even exist. Yes, I deleted it to see if it updates, and it turns out to be no, it didn’t.

Well, what else to say, I’ll repost the entry on “Bug in Blogger RSS FEED” again tonight, so that it updates; As I’m pinging my entries on other sites, thus I got to make sure my post do get pinged, so other people could read it – I hope to see how many unique views I could get for certain topic ;p

So far my highest record on unique view per post on one single day is 47 – the topic is kept secret though, nonethelessly, I got around 8 post with 40+ views also, and 10+ post with 30 over views. I hope to hit a higher record in future ;D

So well, that’s it, and one more thing – WordPress allows me to press “Enter” and new paragraph appears. In Blogger, you cannot even press enter to get one empty line. All “Enter” or line break you try to press, they becomes a “br” tag.

People who knows HTML will knows what I meant, meaning – you spam alot of “Enter” to get the space you want, when you publish it, it becomes only one “br” tag, and all your text and chunk up together – very hard to read.

And my solution to it is to manually type a “p” tag at the top, and start typing my contents.. then whenever I want an empty line, I paste a “/p” tag and “p” tag. Until the end, I’ll add in one last “/p” tag to end it. Then the codes turns out properly~

Sorry to those who don’t understand my previous paragraph of “p” and “/p” thing, that’s not essential, just a simple tips to those who uses Blogger to blog. :p

I find a bug in blogger’s rss feed! I’ll explain why.

Yesterday morning I updated my blog at around 12:51 noon. I updated my blog at ping.sg and I waited and waited..

Man, it did not update! At first I thought the problem lies on ping.sg, as a kind soul there pointed out to me that ping.sg was down for a while just now, thus didn’t update my blog (probably due to the timing)

Well, I reposted that entry with a different title at around 2:05 pm, but again, it did not update.

I tried to troubleshoot the problem, and I actually found out that Blogger did not update my blog’s RSS!!!

If you’re viewing my blog, scroll all the way down (yes, all the way DOWN) to the bottom – did you see a horizontal container looks something like this:

Well, guess what? I told Wei Kiang and Mui Khim not to be late today. Best not to be late because we’re joining a new class – new classmates – new sensei and more critically – a whole new environment.

But I’m late myself! =.=”

I overslept! I slept at like 4am last night? I set my alarm clock to ring at 7 am (normally 7.30 am); but I close my eyes for awhile, and when I open my eyes again:

“OMFG ITS 9:10 AM!”

Note that my japanese class starts at 9 am sharp.

I rush to prepare and rush to school. I somehow jog all the way whenever I can – almost totally never walk before. LOL. Except for in the MRT station :X

The class is quite big, as it is the combination of two class. Frankly speaking, in such a big class, it’s kind of difficult to study efficiently. But what to do? Since NYP arranged it like this; nothing we could do!

Anyway, the learning environment is totally different, they listen to radio on the main passage instead of ownself read them out. And this and that, meaning – it’s a totally different way of teaching by our new sensei, that is, Keiko sensei.

Can’t say I don’t like her or what, but if you let me choose again, I’d still choose my previous sensei, Mariko sensei.

She have been teaching us since our previous semester – JLOE1, that is, Japanese Language Optional Elective 1. Been almost one and a half semester being taught by her. No matter what, the feeling is still there. Quite upset that she left.

I heard from my classmates saying that Mariko sensei quitted because she is tired of and she doesn’t like our attitude.

I thought it was just what they thought, but somehow it turns out that this is mentioned by Keiko sensei at the start of the class – when I wasn’t around!

Thus I couldn’t really tell whether it’s true or not. I can only believe in my own feel; that is, I seriously hope not.

I have been cracking jokes and try to keep the class’ study atmosphere light and not having any heavy feel.. so that everyone can learn efficiently and not feel stress.

I hope I’m not the cause of her resignation. I really liked her class, I really like learning japanese language.

Japanese language is an interesting topic to learn. It is complicated yet easy to understand as long as you understand the meaning deep inside. And it’s a real pleasure when you master the usage of a certain sentence structure.

I did badly for my first test due to heavy load of school work all being cramped up together, in addition of the fact that I’m currently representing NYP for a competition, where the deadline is on 26th June – the time is short and we got alot to rush.

As a result, I don’t really got much time to study for the test or practise anything for japanese – I left school everyday at around 8pm or later..

I actually failed my test paper at 18/40; although my oral expression results of 31/40 helped me to pass my overall ICA1 test, but still, it’s quite a disappointment, I have never scored a non A results in japanese since JL1, JL2, JLOE1, all the way until now. And a drop is all the way drop to a fail in main paper..

I must have let Mariko sensei down.

I will not let her down again, I will study hard and make sure I get an overall A in my final results – and that means to get A for role play, ICA2 and everything.. to pull up my failure in ICA1.

I hope I can do it. And last but not least, Mariko sensei, we’re all so gonna miss you! We will not let you down!

Although Keiko sensei keep saying that we’re slow and hinting to us that we’re slowing her class down, we will not quit or give up easily. We’ll do you proud ;p

Thanks a lot for teaching us all these time, we appreciate it and the time spent with you have been great! I really enjoyed them.

A Sergeant in the army called out his battalion as they stood in line he started giving out the mail. He started, “Private John!”

“Yes Sir!,” John answered as he stepped forward.

“Your Mother just had a heart attack. Take your letter and go back in line.”

With tears in eyes, Private John went back in line.

“Private Peter!,” he called out again.”

“Yes sir.,” answered the Private.

“Your brother was involved in an accident; he broke his legs and arms and died screaming out in pain like a baby.”

Just then a General who was passing by called the Sergeant and told him to be more humane when he is distributing mails to the junior officers.

The next morning he gathered the men as usual. He brought out the first letter, looked at it and did not know what to say because the General was watching this time. He finally said to his men,

“If you know your father is alive move to the right.”

As all the men were moving to the right.. He shouted, “Private Kingsley! Move to the left quickly!!!”

I watched this match last night live, on channel 5.

It was rather disappointing to see Singapore lose.

At first Singapore and Uzbekistan were actually tied at 2-2 at an early stage. I thought it’s going to be a close fight. But the situation turns bad, and obviously bad.

There are a few scenes in the match which reminds me of the video game – Winning Eleven.

One of them, I remembered a mid field guy from Uzbekistan got the ball at around middle of the court – he one person solo and run all the way to attack – FOUR defenders from Singapore tried to chase up to stop him.

From what I see on the TV screen… none of them can catch up! Oh my god! This is totally WINNING ELEVEN! The guy dribbling the ball totally outrun the 4 defenders! What a different in terms of speed.. size too! Almost all the headings are won by Uzbekistan also. Can obviously tell the differences in size just by looking from afar.. =.=”

Well anyway, Singapore tried their best, I’m proud of them. At least they got 3 goals! 1 true goal, follow up by 1 penalty kick, then 1 more goal. (:

SINGAPORE — Uzbekistan overwhelmed Singapore for a 7-3 away win in their World Cup qualifier Monday that extended its advantage atop Group 4.

The match was locked 2-2 after 33 minutes before the Uzbeks slotted three goals before the halftime break to take control of the contest. The win put Uzbekistan on a perfect nine points from three games, with Singapore on three.

Saudi Arabia (three points from two games) was to host Lebanon (no points from two games) later Monday in the other group game, but regardless of the result, Uzbekistan would retain group leadership at the halfway mark of the round-robin, with the top two teams to go through to the next stage.

Kuruvchi teammates Timur Kapadze, in the 10th minute, and Victor Karpenko, in the 22nd minute, twice gave Uzbekistan an early lead, but Singapore responded each time with Aleksandar Duric in the 16th minute and Mustafic Fahrudin from the penalty spot in the 31st minute.

Victor Djeparov put Uzbekistan in front for good with his first goal in the 34th minute. Vitaliy Denisov made it 4-2 to the visitors in the 42nd minute before Djeparov recorded his second in the 42nd minute.
