Edison Chen’s interview on sex scandal

Edison Chen is finally ready to reveal the story on his side! Everyone knows about the stories shared by other victims of this sex scandal, such as Gillian Chung or Cecilia Cheung; Now it is finally Edison Chen’s turn to speak up.
In this interview conducted by CNN, which took place today, Edison revealed on how does he felt and what he did when the sex scandal took place during February last year. Here are what he said,
“I believed I was a victim. I believed that I was hurt by this a lot. I knew that I had nothing to do with the spreading of these photos.”
Well this is true, he IS a victim. I believe that there are surely other celebrities doing such things, just that they are not being revealed; And unfortunately, Edison Chen is the unlucky one whom get sabotaged by a irresponsible computer technician.
To add on to what I said earlier, I do agree that Edison Chen is WRONG, what he did IS WRONG. Morally wrong big time – for being together with so many woman and do those things – well let’s not talk about what happen in his private time.
When speaking on this matter, regarding the sex scandal, he is a VICTIM indeed, looking at the fact that some random guy exposed his doings and make him suffer.
So again, to emphasize, my stand is – Edison Chen is WRONG in his doings, but in this sex scandal matter, he is a VICTIM as well.
“I was afraid to go anywhere. I was travelling around when I was still in Hong Kong in trunks of taxis, literally, just to get to places,”
“I had to be in the trunk for 15 minutes. I didn’t even know if I had enough oxygen to be honest with you.”
He should be glad that he just have to stay inside for 15 minutes. So many people out there is searching for him during those time!
“Even when I had left Asia and I had went to Canada and America, it took me three months to really get out of the shell that I had put myself in. I mean, I was in darkness for five days,”
Be glad that it’s only 5 days…
“I had my drapes closed and I didn’t even want to go anywhere.”
When speaking of why didn’t he contacted any of the girls in the scandal ever since the photos were surfaced out, this is his response:
“Initially it was because I couldn’t find them. Secondly, it was because I didn’t really know how to approach and really what to say to be honest with you,”
One of the girls involved in this sex scandal, whom is currently Nicholas Tse’s wife, Cecilia Cheung, has publicly lashed out at the actor and accused him of being a hypocrite, saying the apology was all an act to “win the public’s forgiveness”.
In an interview with iCable in Feb 2009, Cecilia Cheung said the following:
“He has never apologised to us personally. He should at least have called us to say sorry if he genuinely admitted his mistake.”
“The photos are still circulating online. How can we live a healthy and happy life? How can we put ourselves back on our feet?
Responding to the accusations, here is what Edison Chen has replied:
“I’m not trying to say that that justifies any wrong doing that she thinks I’ve done to her, but I hope that she can understand and I hope that she can forgive me either today or one day, and she’ll understand that I had my difficulties and I really, really never wished this to happen upon anyone and I still respect her.”
What are you guys’ point of view? Feel free to comment & share your thoughts!

lol what utter bullshit frm edison….i some how don think that was even an apology at all
Hi Daniel Chan,
Yeah, I personally don’t think it’s an apology too. The most basic sincerity is to directly apologise to them, not indirectly to the media.
