3 more days to POP
POP lo~!! Whooots~!! 
Finally… POP soon! We have been rehearsing everything like mad; it’s damn shag! I never expect the rehearsal to be so shag, especially when we didn’t march the 24km beforehand! I can’t believe it man… well I guess it’s because of the sun, which is freaking strong and killing; everyone looks “red” after we move on to a shelter.
Last friday there was this rain which is so heavy that most of the roads in Tekong were flooded with water, a wonderful looking parade square seems to become a mini fish pond, hahaha. Especially when we were having our so called “last book out”, so all of us were carrying many things (which includes our field pack PLUS a very big black bag) as we need to bring out EVERYTHING that we brought in in the first place, and also excessive items that were issued to us previously.
Due to the fact that it’s raining heavily, we have to walk the sheltered way which has limited space and it’s a bigger curve compared to we march there ourselves, as a result, we require more time and is seriously rushing… so everyone were trying their best to walk faster.
Just imagine the situation:
- Super heavy rain
- Roads flooded
- Soldiers carrying many bags which looks like they got one month supply of stuffs inside
- Soldiers’ face all look so shag & is rushing to the ferry terminal
Powerful right? haha. It looks like we are evacuating out of the island after we won the war, and tekong island is sinking!
