My Next Destination: SCHOOL OF ARTILLERY (Khatib Camp)

I have successfully passed out from SISPEC BRAVO and is posted to the School of Artillery as my next destination!

Frankly speaking, I’m really very surprised when I’m told that I’m posted to the School of Artillery; I have been expecting ASLC (Advance Section Leaders Course) all along! But the surprising thing is that there are really a lot of people being posted out to unit and courses such as CBRE, Fitness Specialist, and Military Police, which I thought are super hard to get in.

Through this 8 weeks of BSLC course, I really learn a lot of things about army, and many other things. Many people learn how to march, how to shout, how to sing army songs & etc during BMT; but for me, I learn all of them during my stay in SISPEC Bravo.

During BMT, I relied too much on my buddy and we always try to avoid all the stuffs and hide at one corner, keeping a low profile together. Whereas in SISPEC Bravo, I step up and try my best to do all I can, no matter how hard or how troublesome the task is, just like how I handle my projects during my Poly life and how I am going to work in future when I’m in the working society.

Even my friends whom were in the same BMT platoon as me last time and same SISPEC Bravo company as me now, told me that I’m very different =x this shows that I have been really successful in keeping my profile low last time :p

Anyway, we’ll all be reporting to our respective new unit/institute next week. I’m so going to miss all my platoon mates and section mates, especially Wei Jun, Samuel Leong, Joel Zhou, Han Keat, & Guan. They have always been really helpful and we’ve done alot together.

Nonetheless, to the whole platoon:

ALL OF YOU RAWKS, BECAUSE WITHOUT ANYONE OF YOU, 54TH SISPEC BRAVO PLATOON 4 WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AND WILL NOT BE THE BEST PLATOON THERE EVER WERE! THANKS ALL OF YOU FOR ALL THE MEMORIES AND FUN THAT WE ALL SHARED TOGETHER~!!!!

8 weeks is not very long, but it’s not short either. I really enjoyed the days we spent together as a platoon. I really hate farewell session, yesterday while I was saying goodbye and getting contacts from most of them, I actually retreated to one corner to wipe my tears =x

To some others, maybe they won’t feel as much if they always stay with their session mates in their bunk. For me, I felt that I don’t only belong to section 1, I felt that I belongs to PLATOON 4. There are nights where I spent hours with other section, playing games with them & etc; such as MONOPOLY~ right section 3?? haha~

I sincerely hope that everyone had a good time in this 8 weeks, and I hope that they would be doing well and excel in everything that they are going to do in future, be it their next vocation or even future days; wish them well and hope that there would be a moment where all of us could meet up again as the best platoon there ever was! ;)

Cheerios!
